Petiqueta

Do you really know what your dog or cat eats? Petiqueta reads the label of their food — dry, wet, cans or treats — and gives it a score from 0 to 100. At a glance you know whether what you're feeding them is good, or whether there's something better. HOW IT WORKS · Scan the barcode with your camera, or take a photo of the ingredients. · In seconds you get the score and the breakdown of why: protein source, cereals, nutritional analysis, additives, transparency and standard. · And it suggests better-rated alternatives from the same range, in case you want to switch. A SCORE YOU CAN CHECK We don't make the score up. It is always calculated by the same algorithm, with six fixed-weight criteria, and the weights are our own. The protein thresholds are compared against the minimums published by FEDIAF and AAFCO. The same product always gets the same score, and no brand can pay to change it or to appear first. The full methodology is published inside the app: you can read it before you trust it. And when we don't know what a product contains, we don't score it. We'd rather say "we don't know" than make up a number. WHAT'S INSIDE · Over 60,000 products analysed, and growing every day. Coverage is widest for food sold in Spain and Portugal. · Dogs and cats. Petiqueta is an information tool and does not replace your vet's advice. If your dog or cat has a specific need or a prescribed diet, what your vet says comes before our score.
