About Coast & Barista FIRE Planner

Plan when work could become optional. Coast & Barista FIRE Planner combines dedicated Coast and Barista calculations, interactive projections, what-if comparisons, and portfolio check-ins in one clear, private planning experience. PLAN COAST FIRE • Calculate the Coast number your portfolio may need today to grow toward Full FIRE without additional contributions. • Estimate your Coast age from your current invested portfolio and monthly contribution. • See today’s Coast target, current readiness, remaining gap, and Full FIRE target. • Compare a keep-contributing projection with a path that stops contributions when Coast FIRE is reached. • Calculate the monthly contribution required to reach the Full FIRE target by your planned retirement age. MODEL A BARISTA BRIDGE • Choose the age when you plan to begin part-time work. • Enter your own estimate of annual after-tax work income and annual spending during the Barista phase. • See the portfolio target required at the transition and the amount your current plan is projected to reach. • Calculate the annual amount the portfolio would need to cover after subtracting your entered work-income estimate from Barista spending. • Review the transition funding gap and projected portfolio at full retirement. EXPLORE THE PROJECTION • Use interactive Coast and Barista charts with inflation-adjusted values in today’s money. • Review key outcomes and annual portfolio checkpoints from your current age to retirement. • Extend the projected balance beyond retirement through age 95. • Compare Cautious, Balanced, and Growth rate scenarios. • Review built-in warnings when return, withdrawal-rate, or timeline assumptions may deserve another look. TEST PLAN CHANGES • Edit ages, invested portfolio, monthly contributions, spending, return, inflation, and withdrawal-rate assumptions. • Preview how saving more or less, spending more or less, retiring later, or starting the Barista phase later changes the result. • Apply a preview only when you choose to update the saved plan. TRACK PORTFOLIO PROGRESS • Add dated portfolio check-ins with optional notes. • Follow progress toward Coast, Barista, and Full FIRE targets. • View an interactive portfolio trend and complete check-in history. • Review total change, percentage change, average monthly change, and time tracked. • Edit or delete check-ins and export the history as CSV. UNDERSTAND THE NUMBERS • Read the formulas behind Full FIRE, real return, Coast targets, Barista spending gaps, and transition targets. • Review calculation assumptions and model limits directly in the app. • Choose from USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, and NZD display currencies. • Use System, Light, or Dark appearance. No account or bank connection is required. Your plan and portfolio check-ins stay on your device. Terms of Use - https://pipsapps.com/terms.html Privacy Policy - https://pipsapps.com/privacy.html
