ZonDot: Sun Hours Weather

ZonDot answers three questions. 1 - How much sun today. A number in hours, not a picture of a cloud. 2 - When the sun starts and stops. Sunrise, sunset, and the span between them drawn as it passes. 3 - What the wind and rain are doing. Rain in words rather than millimetres: drizzle, light, moderate, heavy, downpour. THE DAY IN 24 DOTS One dot per hour. Yellow is sun, grey is cloud, blue is rain. A filled dot is an hour still ahead of you, a hollow one has gone, and a ring marks the hour it is now. The whole day reads in a glance, without a single number. DRAG TO ANY HOUR Slide a finger across the chart and the reading follows: the hour, the temperature, the sky. Let go and it returns to now. THE DAYS AHEAD Ten days, each a row of the same 24 dots, with its hours of sun beside it. Open any day to read it hour by hour, the same way you read today. TEMPERATURE, WIND, RAIN Three readings on one timeline, opened together when you want them and folded away when you do not. WIDGETS Three faces: one on the home screen, two on the lock screen. How long until the sun, and the stretch worth planning around. WHAT ZONDOT DOES NOT DO No account. No advertising. No tracking, and no analytics of any kind. No location permission either: the app has no location code in it, so iOS never asks. You choose a city by name.
