About Football1001: Live Scores

A LEAGUE TABLE YOU CAN READ — played, won, drawn, lost, goals and points, the way you check a table for them. The season sits in a dropdown above, and home and away are a tap away: the same eighteen clubs, ranked only on what they did at home. WHERE A EUROPEAN PLACE SENDS A CLUB — the first eight go straight to the last sixteen and the next sixteen to the play-off, so the line is drawn on the table itself, and on the one a live match opens. A EUROPEAN CUP'S SCORERS, FROM THE CUP — goals from July's qualifying rounds were counted against the competition proper, which put a club that entered in the first round above the men actually scoring in it. The board is now counted from the league phase alone. SEARCH THAT STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT — pick Teams and keep typing and you are still in Teams. A club's name now answers with the club instead of with the one goalkeeper who happened to share two letters with it, and All shows a taste of each kind rather than a screen of players. YOUR OWN CHANNELS — the language you read the app in now decides whose television listings a match leads with. Also: settings that quietly went missing — type size, broadcast country, pitch surface, a muted match — now stay put; a country's flag sits behind its league card; a club's absences are ruled off by club; long names fit the pitch and wrap in the table rather than being cut; the armband follows the name again; and a career row opens the club.
