About Fomkoo
Fomkoo is the directory for businesses, services, and destinations in Puerto Rico—all in one app. Need a plumber, a salon, an electrician, or any other service? Search by category or municipality and contact the business directly via phone, WhatsApp, or in-app chat. WHAT YOU’LL FIND ON FOMKOO • Real businesses from across the island, organized by category and municipality • Verified businesses (marked with a badge) so you know who to trust • "Near You" section showing actual distance based on your location • Recently Added: the newest businesses, always up to date • Direct chat with businesses without leaving the app • Star ratings and photos from other customers • Business hours and real-time open/closed status DESTINATIONS TO VISIT Fomkoo is also your guide to discovering Puerto Rico: beaches, waterfalls, historic sites, and places you never knew existed. Filter by municipality or let the Destination Roulette surprise you with a new spot for your next adventure. FOR BUSINESSES Do you own a business or offer a service? Register for free and let thousands of people in Puerto Rico find you. Upload photos, business hours, and social media links, and respond directly to customers via chat. Fomkoo is 100% Puerto Rican—created to connect the island's people with the island's businesses.
What’s new
Version 1.5 · Updated September 18, 2026
The destination Wheel is new: spin it without picking anything first, feel it buzz while it searches, and the place you land on fills the screen with its photo. Filter by town, by what you feel like doing, by distance, or ask only for the ones you haven't stamped yet. Stamping your passport now feels like something: the stamp drops onto your card, tells you which number you're on and how far along your region is, and you can share it as an image. Also: the app moves better — cards open into their page instead of snapping, saving a favorite gives you a little buzz, and while things load you see the shape of what's coming instead of a spinner. Home, Settings and the help center are tidier, news now shows only in your language, and the help button marks a dot when we post something new.
