About Meek — Faith Out Loud.

Sometimes a friend or coworker asks about your faith because they genuinely want to know, and you find you can't get the words out. That doesn't mean your faith is weak. Believing something and explaining it out loud are different skills, and most of us have only ever practiced the first. Meek gives you a place to practice the second. How it works: Meek gives you a real objection in a real setting: a coworker whose friend just got sick, a classmate walking out of a biology lecture, or a friend who was hurt by a church and hasn't been back since. You answer out loud, the way you would in the moment. Meek then tells you what came across well, what was missing, and how you might say it more clearly. When you try the same objection again, it shows you what changed. What's inside: There are more than 120 objections drawn from questions people actually ask, covering science and faith, suffering and hell, other religions, the reliability of the Bible, hypocrisy in the church, moral teaching, and who Jesus claimed to be. Each one is stated in its strongest form, because an answer to a weaker version won't help much when someone asks you the real one. Each also comes with the Scripture that speaks to it and a note on the arguments Christians often get wrong. The coaching is grounded in Scripture and draws on the Apologist Project. A full Bible: You can read any book and chapter, follow one of four reading plans, or simply browse. You can switch between the Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, and Ethiopian canons in Settings. Press and hold any sentence to save it or to ask a question about it. Ask Augustine: Ask Augustine is a place to think through a question that stays with you, whether it's about a passage you read or something you couldn't answer last week. Your conversations are saved so you can come back to them. Your answers stay with you: Every answer you record is transcribed as soon as you finish, and the audio itself is never saved. Your transcripts stay with each objection, so a month from now you can read back through them and see how you've grown. Who it's for: You don't need any background in apologetics to begin. And if you've watched plenty of debates but still go quiet when it's your turn to speak, Meek is for you too. Why it's called Meek Peter tells us to always be ready to give an answer for the hope we have, and to do it with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). We tend to remember the first half and forget the second. But Scripture holds them together, and so should we. Meek isn't about winning arguments. The person asking you hard questions is not your opponent. We love them, and we want them to know Jesus Christ. That's why the answer matters, and why the way we give it matters just as much. Meek is here to help you give an answer that's both honest and kind. Private by default: There's no account and no sign-up, and we never ask for your name or email. Your practice belongs to you, and you can delete all of it from Settings at any time. Made by AfterPew Ministries LLC.

A GUIDED TOUR Meek now walks you through the app itself, one feature at a time. New people see it on their first visit. Everyone else can find it in Settings under Take the Tour. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE - A warm-up run of five counts toward your streak - Each tile on the home screen opens the exact objection it names - Cleaner replies from Augustine Thank you for using Meek.
