KIDC - Kids In De Car

It can happen to anyone. A changed routine, a different driver or an assumed hand-off can leave a dangerous gap. KIDC helps families make responsibility visible around every child journey. Parents, partners, grandparents, relatives and other trusted caregivers can coordinate who is driving, follow shared journey status, receive best-effort reminders when a journey needs attention and explicitly confirm that every child is out. OUR MISSION KIDC is working with families and communities toward zero preventable hot-car deaths through stronger caregiver accountability. CLOSE THE LOOP ON EVERY JOURNEY • Assign clear responsibility to the driver • See journeys in progress, current stops and children travelling • Receive best-effort journey-start and overdue reminders • Physically check the vehicle, then confirm each child is out • Review completed journeys and confirmation records • Coordinate recurring routines and shared family calendars • Bring partners, grandparents, relatives and other trusted caregivers into your family space START WITH THREE JOURNEYS New accounts can complete their first three journeys before Individual Access is required. Continue with monthly or annual billing through Apple; both options unlock the complete KIDC experience for one account. Do not leave your child’s safety to memory alone. Create your family space, invite every trusted caregiver and complete your first KIDC journey today. KIDC is an additional best-effort accountability safeguard. It does not detect children, guarantee notification delivery, provide emergency response or replace physically checking every seat and footwell.
