Saleh Barbershop

It usually starts with a glance in the mirror. The hair has grown past where you like it, and you sense it might be time. You open the app and look over the week. The free times are laid out plainly, so you pick a haircut, or the haircut finished with a hot towel, choose a time that suits the day, and it is booked. From then on it waits in your bookings list, and if plans shift, you can cancel it right there. As the day comes closer, a reminder arrives. On iPhone, a countdown appears on the Lock Screen as the time approaches, and a Home Screen widget keeps the next appointment in view. A tap on "Add to calendar" sets it beside everything else in your week. On the way over, the home screen tells you whether the shop is open right now, and "How far is it?" shows the distance from where you are. That distance is worked out on your phone and stays there. You sit down, the cut takes shape, and perhaps the warm towel rounds it off. Before you head out, it is worth opening the app once more and choosing the next time, while the good feeling is still fresh. The app speaks Hebrew, Arabic and English, and your profile picture can come from the camera or your photo library, cropped the way you like.
