About Findimals: Find the Animals

Findimals is the calm seek-and-find learning game for kids age 6 and up: spot animals in five watercolour-style worlds, have everything read aloud and pick up real knowledge along the way. How it works: every round opens with a window showing the animal you are looking for, and the question is spoken, for example "Can you find the jay?". Then it is time to look closely. Depending on the difficulty, 5, 10 or 15 animals hide in the picture, each in a place that makes sense: birds in the sky, fish in the water, deer on the forest floor. A preview window and a magnifier help whenever a little one gets stuck. Every find is rewarded with applause, plus the fact sheet about the animal: size, weight, life span, habitat and a "did you know?" fact. It is read aloud in full, not just displayed. Searching turns into learning without a lesson, and without reading. Every window stays on screen long enough for early readers to follow. FIVE WORLDS, 15 LANDSCAPES - Local Forest: dense forest, forest clearing, forest stream. With fox, deer, badger, red squirrel, wild boar, tawny owl and many more - Animals of the Ice: tundra, glacier, icebergs. With polar bear, emperor penguin, harp seal, arctic fox, snowy owl, reindeer - Animals of Africa: savanna, jungle, waterhole. With lion, elephant, giraffe, zebra, rhino, cheetah, hippo - Animals of the Ocean: coral reef, deep sea, sea floor. With blue whale, dolphin, great white shark, sea turtle, octopus, clownfish, seahorse - Kings of the Sky: cloudy sky, mountains, evening sky. With golden eagle, white stork, grey heron, peregrine falcon, barn swallow More than 280 species, each one checked individually and shown with its real features, from the blue whale to the mole, with realistic size relations between them. EVERYTHING IS READ ALOUD The question is spoken, every find is praised, every fact sheet is read aloud in full: 2,328 English voice recordings keep the sentences from wearing thin. A child who cannot read a word gets through a whole round alone. Add nature sounds for every world: forest birds, the sea, wind across the tundra. Prefer quiet? Music and sounds switch off separately. TWO GAME MODES - Free Play: 10 rounds without time pressure, ideal for the youngest - High Score Hunt: 10 rounds against the clock, with points and a leaderboard THE FOREST IS FREE, AND FULLY SO Not a stripped-down demo: the forest world is fully playable with all three difficulties, both game modes and all landscapes. The four other worlds are available individually or as a bundle, as a one-time purchase. No subscription, no consumables, no second checkout. BUILT WITH PARENTS IN MIND - Fully offline: no internet connection needed to play - No ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, no third-party components - Purchases and e-mail contact sit behind a parental gate - High scores stay on the device, nothing is transmitted - German and English, switchable inside the app - Speech output runs on the device, no server involved FREQUENTLY ASKED What age is it for? Recommended from age 6. The easy level with five animals also works earlier if a grown-up reads along. Does it need internet? No. Only buying another world goes through the App Store; playing never does. Could my child buy something by accident? No. Every purchase sits behind a parental gate with a maths task for grown-ups. What does it cost? The forest world is free. Each further world is a one-time 2.49, all four together 7.49. No subscription. All music and sounds were created specifically for Findimals. What’s new

Version 1.1.0 · Updated August 31, 2026

Read aloud, not read Every round now opens with a window showing the animal you are looking for, and the question is spoken. After every find, the app reads the complete fact card: size, weight, lifespan, home, and the did-you-know line. That took 580 new recordings, in German and English. A child who cannot read a single word can now play a full round. Also in this update: · The top bar now shows just the animal name, large and calm. · A tap next to a window stops the narration at once and moves on. · English fact cards: measurements, units and thousands separators corrected.
