What’s new
Version 1.2 · Updated September 28, 2026
AimCue 1.2 - Tap a ball, see the shot. Tapping a ball solves it at once. The shot card is now three pictures (where to hit, where to aim, how hard) and one line saying where the ball goes. - Honest advice. A line that slips past another ball by millimetres counts as blocked, and the app looks for another shot. When a pot isn't on, it tells you why: a blocked ball, a side pocket entered too steeply, or a cut too thin. - Safe play only when it's really hard. Safeties and defences are drawn as a dashed grey line. The card says why the app chose one, and the free tier also shows the best scoring shot. - Rules built in: the pool break, ball in hand behind the head string, the 9 spotted on a foul, snooker's foul and miss and the re-spotted black, carom balls in contact, the four-ball count, and the carom break shot. - Beginner Buddy tells you which ball to play and why, and what happens after a pot, a miss or a foul. It also follows your opponent's turn. - Easier table setup: a balls-to-pot list under the table, 5 mm fine-tune arrows, a one-tap "It went in", clearer ball numbers, and all 15 snooker reds. - More choices: pick your carom ball (white or yellow), grouped Settings, shorter drill lessons, and an Advanced level.
