Seder Hayom

What does a day in the life of a Breslover chassid actually look like? Nearly a century ago, Reb Yitzchok Breiter zt"l answered that question with his Seder HaYom: twenty-one daily practices drawn from the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, carrying a Yid from the evening through the night, the morning, and the working day. This app puts that seder in your pocket. LIGHT YOUR FLAMES Each practice you complete lights a flame, from hiskashrus and the bedtime Shema to Tikkun HaKlali, learning the Rebbe's Torah, and eating with holiness. Tap any practice to learn what it is and where it comes from. TIME YOUR HISBODEDUS How long did you talk to Hashem today? Start the timer, speak in your own words, and watch your minutes with Hashem add up over weeks and months. However long it is, it's precious. YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS ALONE When you check in, you'll see how many other souls checked in that day. No names, no profiles, no comparing. Just the quiet knowledge that a fire is burning in many pockets at once. A TRACKER THAT NEVER GUILTS YOU There are no streaks to break, no red marks, nothing counting against you. Rebbe Nachman warned us not to grasp everything at once: go slowly, step by step, without panic. Every flame you light is real and permanent. A day with one flame is a good day. ALSO INSIDE A daily spark of the Rebbe's words. Your journey in charts, with Hebrew and secular calendars side by side. Light and dark modes. Your check-ins stay private on your device. As the Rebbe said to Reb Noson in a dream: "Drap zich un halt zich." Climb, and hold on tight. From In Breslov Burns a Fire, a project of Breslov Thornhill.
