Hitchcock Dolly Zoom

Hitchcock Dolly Zoom makes it easy to create the classic cinematic Dolly Zoom effect—even when shooting solo. Tap the viewfinder to select the subject area you want to track, choose a movement direction and shot duration, then move forward or backward by following the on-screen guidance. The app tracks the selected area entirely on device, estimates your movement from changes in the subject’s size, and adjusts the zoom in real time to keep the subject as stable as possible while creating a dramatic shift in background perspective. Key Features • Tap to Track: Select a subject area directly in the viewfinder • Speed-Matched Zoom: Zoom speed adapts to your movement and pauses when you stop • Two Shot Directions: Move backward while zooming in, or move forward while zooming out • Three Durations: Choose a 3-, 5-, or 8-second shot • Real-Time Guidance: Get prompts to move forward, move backward, speed up, slow down, or maintain your pace • HD Video: Record in 1080p in portrait or landscape, then preview your shot immediately • Free Retakes: Record, retake, and watch full-length watermarked previews for free, with no retake limits • Permanent Export Unlock: Make a one-time purchase to save videos to Photos and share them with other apps Privacy First No account or sign-in is required. Camera frames and videos are never uploaded to developer-operated servers. Your current shot is stored temporarily in the app’s on-device cache and is deleted when you retake, relaunch the app, or the system clears the cache. Your video leaves the app only when you choose to save or share it. Requirements Hitchcock Dolly Zoom requires an iPhone with a rear camera and iOS 17 or later. The current version records video without audio. Results may vary depending on lighting, subject contrast, occlusion, whether the subject remains in frame, movement stability, and the zoom range available on your device.
