About Spotterra: Plane Spotting

Global flight maps show you everything. Spotterra does one thing: it tells you what's worth walking outside for, right now. Set the place you watch the sky from. Pick the aircraft that matter to you. You decide what counts. - Special callsigns recognised automatically: Air Force One, NATO, RAF, HEMS, NASA - Emergency squawks always come first - A logbook that fills itself. Confirm a catch with one tap and watch your collection grow. - Add your own photos to catches - Airport guides for 101 airports: where to stand, which runway is active, when the light is good - Sky lens - hold up your phone and see which aircraft you're looking at Spotterra is free to use - no card required. What’s new

Version 1.3 · Updated September 15, 2026

Watched flight on your Lock Screen, done properly. • Live Activity now shows the full picture from the moment you start watching: route, cities, aircraft type and registration, departure time and a progress bar that ticks by itself. • "Approaching" tells you what you actually need on the fence — distance, direction and altitude from live ADS-B, updated every minute. • Estimated arrival even for flights with no published schedule (cargo and general aviation). Our own estimate is marked with ~ so you always know whose number you are looking at. • Tap the card to open that exact aircraft on the map. • Fixes: dead Live Activity tokens are cleaned up, and watched flights created hours ahead now keep their information fresh.
