Vesting Bourtange

You're walking through Bourtange Fortress, and it's 1672. As you move along the ramparts and past the bastions, you hear the story of the Disaster Year: the year the Dutch Republic is attacked from every side, and Bourtange braces for battle against the feared bishop everyone calls Bommen Berend. This audio walk takes you to different spots around the fortress, each with its own story. Walk at your own pace, headphones on, phone in hand. No guide to keep up with, no group to wait for: you decide when to move on. The walk is available in Dutch, English, and German.
