About Paris & Me: Travel Guide Map
Paris, honestly. Paris & Me is a hand-built travel guide to Paris: an interactive map, honest first-person reviews, a trip planner that composes your days, and the practical advice that keeps a trip from going sideways. No sponsors, no ads, nothing to buy. Too many travellers leave Paris disappointed — not because of the city, but for lack of the right information. This is the opposite of a scraped top-10 list: some 130 places picked one by one, each with a real opinion attached. A MAP AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING • Landmarks and restaurants on one map of Paris • Filter by arrondissement, or use “Around me” to sort every place by real distance • Tap a pin for the story, the hours, the price and the verdict YOUR TRIP, PLANNED IN THREE TAPS • Say where you’re staying, for how many days, and the mood — classic, culture, family, romantic or party • Get coherent days: a morning visit, lunch, an afternoon, dinner and an evening out — only on nights it actually happens • See each day on the map, and swap, add or remove whatever doesn’t suit you 30 LANDMARKS, TOLD PROPERLY • The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, Montmartre and 25 more • Hours, ticket prices, whether booking is worth it — and the tip that saves you an hour in line • Tickets from the official ticket office, without leaving the app — never a reseller • How busy each place usually is, hour by hour and day by day, so you can pick a quieter moment • A History of Paris to read end to end, from Lutetia to today WHERE TO EAT AND SLEEP, HONESTLY REVIEWED • 58 places to eat and drink: bistros, brasseries, bakeries, hidden cocktail bars — with the exact address • 27 places to stay, from youth hostels to palaces, with prices that match reality • Written in the first person: what’s great, and where it falls short • Share any restaurant as a one-page PDF, with its spot on a map of Paris ASK MIMI • Mimi, the app’s assistant, answers your questions from the guide itself — a table for tonight, a museum open on Monday — and opens the places she mentions • Mimi is an AI: with your permission, your questions are sent to Claude, by Anthropic, to answer them. Paris & Me keeps no record THIS WEEK IN PARIS • An agenda of exhibitions, shows, concerts and workshops that won’t last: pick a day, a budget to the euro, a genre, a neighbourhood • Travellers rank them together: push the good ones up, send the others down TRAVEL WITH CONFIDENCE • The scams that actually target visitors: how each one works, the warning signs, what to do • Getting around — metro, Navigo, RER, from the airport, on foot and by bike • Etiquette and the few French phrases that change how you’re treated • Staying aware at night, by situation — never by pointing at a neighbourhood • Emergency numbers one tap away: 112, 15 (ambulance), 17 (police), 18 (fire), 114 (by text) 20 CHALLENGES FOR YOUR DAYS • Small missions rather than a checklist: a viewpoint at the right hour, a taste, an offbeat corner • The planner fits them along your route; add or remove them day by day ALREADY LIVE IN PARIS? The welcome questions adapt to you: no trip planning, just new addresses, what’s on this week, and the Paris you’ll want to show your friends. READABLE WITHOUT A SIGNAL The whole guide ships inside the app — landmarks, addresses, tips and history stay readable in the metro or with roaming off. (The map and this week’s events need a connection.) IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic — the content itself, not just the menus. FREE, AND THAT’S ALL No subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising. Usage statistics only if you agree to them, and never used for commercial purposes. Your favourites, your trip and your preferences stay on your phone. Have a wonderful stay. Paris deserves it.
What’s new
Version 1.4.0 · Updated October 21, 2026
- A new look The whole app now speaks in bright colours, and the tab bar slips out of the way as you scroll. - Meet Mimi Ask Mimi about your trip: a table for tonight, a museum open on Monday, a place near your hotel. She answers from the guide and opens the places she mentions. Mimi is an AI: with your permission, your questions are sent to Claude, by Anthropic, to answer them. - This week, day by day The Activities tab is now the agenda of the week: pick a day on the calendar, then filter by budget — with the exact price of each event — by genre and by neighbourhood. Challenges now live in your trip planner. - Official tickets Fifteen monuments now let you buy your ticket from their official ticket office, without leaving the app. - Six new places Bambou, Malro, Wilde’s Lounge and Tempête, plus two brunch spots in the 10th: 5 Pailles and Café Studio.
