About Noise Eraser-Sh.D
Drop in a recording and it comes back clean. That's all this app does. • Any recording — song practice, covers, meeting notes, lectures, interviews, voice memos • A neural network removes background noise (AC, wind, chatter) and room echo • Compare original vs. cleaned side by side, then save or share • Everything runs on your device — recordings are never uploaded • One-time download of the cleaning model (~213MB), then it works offline The free tier cleans the first 10 minutes of each file — plenty for songs and short takes. You only need the full version (one-time purchase) for long recordings like meetings and lectures.
What’s new
Version 1.7 · Updated September 19, 2026
Two places to get it — 1.7 - The cleaning model you download once on first launch (about 213MB) now comes from two places. If one is unreachable the app starts over from the other. If you already have it, nothing is downloaded again. - If a file shared from another app arrives before the cleaning model does, the app holds the file and asks you to get the model first, then starts that file as soon as it lands. It used to start quietly. - After your second clean-up the app asks for a rating, once, and only as often as the system allows. - Short failure reasons now appear in English under English settings. VoiceOver skips decorative artwork and reads the share button in the results list. - Sound processing, price, permissions and the free 10 minutes are unchanged.
