Ashtray is a worldwide artist network. No feed, likes, follows. No ads. No GPS. We don't sell your data. The app is built so there is barely any to collect. The business model: we sell ashtrays. Audience filters: 18+ public Instagram Ashtray (optional) Every filter raises the share of real-world people. I mean, bots don't buy ashtrays. Architecture: world | 30 cities | you Every profile is: one photo instagram username 28-character bio city One gesture between people: connect. The right to send one belongs to owners of the physical Ashtray. A connect becomes a connection only by consent – when the other person accepts or replies. No cold DMs. Chats are text only. Free: your profile, your city, world, receiving and accepting connects, chats. With the Ashtray: sending connects and going offline. That's it. Welcome to Ashtray.

Smoother globe: opening a city and zooming back out no longer stutter. Press and hold anyone's photo – in a city, in world, in your lists or in a chat – to connect, accept, unsend a request, delete a connection, hide or block. The same options everywhere. Changed your mind? Tap "requested" to take back a request you sent. Tapping a notification now takes you straight to your chats or connections. Bought more than one Ashtray? Keep them all, or give one to a friend – they verify with your order number and email. We now measure our Instagram and Facebook ads, only if you allow tracking. There are no ads in the app.
