Freethe: Sustain & Drone AUv3

Freethe catches the sound that just happened and holds it — stretching a fleeting moment into a living, evolving drone. Make a sound, tap the canvas, and it freezes into a sustained texture you can shape with your fingers. Inspired by a classic sustain pedal and rebuilt as a modern granular instrument, Freethe gives every frozen "grab" its own place on a pan/volume canvas and its own character: • Cloud — overlapping grains scatter the capture into a soft, shifting haze. • Loop — a seamless read head holds a clean, steady sustain. • Spectral — additive resynthesis turns the moment into a shimmering, tuned pad. Grab as many sounds as you like, drag them around the stereo field, and layer them into slowly breathing soundscapes. A live scope traces the incoming signal behind the canvas, so you can feel the sound before you freeze it. FEATURES • Three distinct freeze modes: Cloud, Loop, and Spectral • Multi-touch canvas — grab and move several drones at once • Per-grab control: position/scrub, drift, loop window, spectral shimmer and width • Split any grab into its other two modes with a single tap • Global tempo with tap-tempo and tempo-synced attack/release • Full MIDI mapping — trigger grabs and drive every control from a controller • Choose your input device, monitor the dry signal, or freeze from an audio file • Also ships as an Audio Unit (AUv3) plug-in for Logic Pro, GarageBand, AUM and more FREE TO PLAY, ONE-TIME UNLOCK Play generously for free with up to three grabs in all three modes. A single purchase — no subscription — unlocks the full pool of eight grabs plus the power features (MIDI mapping, Split-into-modes, presets, and audio-file input). Yours forever.
