Create a 24-hour cooling-off period. When you return, decide whether you still want it. If you skip it, record the amount as saved. SAVE WITH OR WITHOUT A GOAL Choose something meaningful to work toward—such as an emergency fund, vacation, special purchase, charitable donation, or general savings. Setting a goal is optional.
