About FLIP THE CITY
FLIP turns any city into a place you unlock by walking. Pick a route made by a local — a street-food crawl, a heritage walk, an alley of neon signs — and follow it stop by stop. Arrive at each spot and its story unlocks: what happened here, what to order, where to look. No tour group. No schedule. Just you, the street, and a local's voice in your pocket. • Real routes by real locals, not algorithm lists • Stories, photos and audio that only unlock on location • Offline-friendly maps made for walking • Know your streets? Build a route and earn every time someone walks it FLIP is rolling out city by city — starting invite-only in Hong Kong. Sign in with the account details you were given.
What’s new
Version 1.0.8 · Updated October 14, 2026
• Arrive at a stop and you'll hear a ding. Tap "I'm here, FLIP" to open it, so nothing pops up while you're walking. • Photos and audio for the next stops load ahead of time, and spoken directions pause while you read. • Walk the stops in order. Skip a stop or end the walk from the ⋯ menu. A walk closes 24 hours after you start. • After you finish, revisit the stops you opened for 2 hours, and post in the guestbook with photos and replies. • Tap a past walk for a dashboard: time on route, steps, average per stop, longest stretch, map and timeline. Steps come from your iPhone's motion sensor. • Walk times on the trophy page now match your stop records. • Discover and route pages open instantly. • Fixed guestbook text overlapping when the keyboard is open, plus stability and performance improvements.
