Music Dawn: Song Recorder

Catch the song before it fades. Music Dawn is a recorder made for musicians. Record an idea in one tap, hear it with a finished sound right away, and keep every recording in one library on all your devices. RECORD IN ONE TAP Start recording from iPhone, Apple Watch, the Lock Screen, Control Center, Siri, or Shortcuts. Pause, resume, or start over without leaving the screen. A live waveform shows the microphone is hearing you. Everything records in 24-bit lossless. With headphones on, play along to a click from 40 to 240 BPM, in 2/4 up to 7/4. The saved recording never includes the click. EVERY IDEA, READY TO FIND Every new recording gets a title, so even an idea you never named is easy to spot. Sort recordings into folders, mark favorites, browse by where you recorded them, and search titles and notes. Play a folder from start to end or shuffled, even with the screen locked. Bring in audio from Files, Voice Memos, and other apps, several recordings at once. Your own iCloud keeps the library the same on iPhone and iPad, and the Watch records when your hands are on an instrument. LYRICS AND CHORDS ON THE RECORDING Every recording has a note for lyrics, chords, capo, or gear, free. A time at the start of a line points into the song: tap it to play from there, and see it marked on the waveform. As the song plays, each part of the note lights up when its time comes, and the chords heard in each part show under it. HEAR EVERY RECORDING AT ITS BEST Every recording plays with a finished sound, free: EQ, a compressor, a plate reverb, and Master, which sets the level. A rough idea sounds closer to the song it could be, so it is easier to tell which ideas are worth taking further. Trim without touching the original. Share the original, or the recording as you hear it. TUNE WITHOUT LEAVING THE SONG Open the tuner from the same screen. See the note, the frequency, and how many cents you are off, with standard guitar strings as targets. Set A4 to 432, 440, or 442 Hz. MUSIC DAWN PRO Pro makes every recording sound its best. Monitoring puts you in your headphones as you sing or play, polished and with a touch of room, in real time. Hearing yourself sound good gives you the confidence to let the performance shine, and the saved recording stays untouched. Clean takes background noise and room echo out of a recording. Presets for vocals, piano, and songs give it the right sound in one tap. When you want to go further, Pro opens all 16 effects with every control, and lets you build and save your own chains: Clean, EQ, Surgical EQ, Compressor, Opto, De-esser, Tube, Tape, Distortion, Bitcrusher, Chorus, Delay, Stage, Reverb with five spaces (room, chamber, plate, hall, and spring), Master, and Monitor. Pro also finds the chords, key, and tempo of a recording (Beta). Try it free for 7 days with the yearly plan, buy it once for life, or choose monthly.
