Box/Dance UK is the official free app for Box UK and Dance Radio UK, two fully licensed UK internet radio stations run by a team of volunteer DJs. Box UK plays the best mix of then and now: 80s, 90s, 00s and today's chart music. Dance Radio UK covers every genre of dance music, from old skool to underground. Switch between the two stations any time with a single tap. WHAT YOU GET • Live streams for both stations, free, with no account needed • See what's playing now, plus the tracks that just played, with album artwork • Full show schedules and presenter profiles, so you know who's on and what's next • Listen Back: catch up on shows you missed • Send a song request straight to the live presenter • Optional alerts when your favourite show or DJ goes on air • Sleep timer and alarm • CarPlay support, with both stations, recently played tracks and what's coming up • AirPlay to speakers, and full lock screen controls with artwork No sign-up, no adverts, no tracking. A new look for Box UK and Dance Radio UK, on the same reliable player. - Live, Schedule, Replay and More tabs at the bottom replace the old side menu. - One card shows who is on air, how far through the show they are, and the song playing now. Tap it, or the mini player, for a full-screen player with the artwork. - Switch between Box UK and Dance Radio UK at the top of the Live screen. - Schedule: tap the bell on any show to be alerted when it goes live. - Send a request from the Live screen: Robojock's queue, or a message and voicenote for the live DJ. - Sleep timer, alarm, default station, theme and notification settings now live in More. The new Replay (formerly Listen Back): - Every show from both stations, grouped by presenter, with a page for each show and a search. - Now playing and Continue listening: pick up exactly where you left off. - Each show has its own full-screen player with a scrubber and 30-second skips, also on the lock screen and in CarPlay. - While a show is on, the play button on the Live card takes you straight back to the radio. CarPlay: - Tapping the station that is already playing opens Now Playing instead of restarting the stream. - Clearer Connecting, Reconnecting and Paused states. - Just Played is a history list with a "Listen live" button for each station. Also fixed a rare case where playback could resume on its own after a phone call.
