About Ekiro: Interval Running
Ekiro is an interval running app that lets you build workouts around you. Set up anything from a simple run-walk pattern to a more complex plan with repeats, a warm-up, recovery, and custom segments. Want one minute of running and two minutes of walking? Or three minutes of running, one minute of recovery, then another block? Choose a ready-made workout or build your own from scratch. NO NEED TO WATCH THE TIMER Before each segment changes, Ekiro warns you with a vibration and tells you by voice what comes next — running, walking, or any other segment you set up yourself. No staring at the screen and no breaking your stride. WANT TO KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR HEART RATE? Set the range you want to stay in. Ekiro warns you if your heart rate goes outside it, and after the workout the report shows how it changed and how long you stayed in your target range. Heart rate features require an Apple Watch. ON APPLE WATCH — WITHOUT YOUR PHONE Start a workout right on your Apple Watch and leave your phone at home. The watch guides you through every segment, signals each switch, and tracks your heart rate. After the run, your results automatically appear on your iPhone. A DETAILED REPORT AFTER EVERY RUN Once you finish, see your time, distance, pace, heart rate, and data for every segment of the workout. The heart rate chart is overlaid on your workout plan, so you can see how your heart rate changed while you ran, walked, and recovered. Ekiro also shows how long you stayed in the heart rate range you set. PROGRESS, WEEK BY WEEK One workout shows what happened today. Progress helps you see what changes over time. See how consistently you run, along with distance, running and walking time, average heart rate, and time in your target range. Put any two metrics on one chart and compare them — for example, how your training load changes alongside your heart rate. EKIRO COACH After a run, Ekiro asks you to rate how hard it felt on a scale from 1 to 10. Based on that rating, Ekiro Coach suggests the next step: run a little longer, add another block, keep the workout as it is, or ease off a little. Build workouts your way — from simple run-walk intervals to more complex plans with repeats and custom segments. Ekiro Coach helps you move forward from the workout you chose. If you start with a ready-made workout, Coach suggests how to adapt the next steps based on how hard the workout felt for you. Accept the suggestion, choose another option, or change nothing — it is up to you. Ekiro is a training app, not a medical device. If you have any health concerns, talk to your doctor before training.
