The Menù Hamburg

No stars, no rankings, no points. 150 Hamburg restaurants, each one visited in person and written up by our editors. Five questions lead you to your new favourite restaurant. WHERE ARE WE GOING TONIGHT? Instead of thousands of results, a small selection that fits. The finder asks about occasion, mood, sense of adventure, company and price — and leads you to restaurants that suit your evening. STORIES, NOT RATINGS Every house has its portrait: the kitchen, the room, the drinks, the thinking behind it. Specific, close up, without marketing language. Written by people who have eaten there. COLLECTIONS Monthly changing selections around themes, neighbourhoods and culinary discoveries. FOR HAMBURG AND ITS GUESTS German, English, Dutch, Danish. Spanish in preparation. HOW RESTAURANTS GET IN Editorial selection only. No restaurant can buy its way in. Every recommendation is based on a personal visit. The Menù is funded through partnerships with companies and institutions that support Hamburg's culinary development — not by the restaurants themselves. A project by Kaiserhappen, Hamburg.
