About Brief: Medication Tracker
Brief is a medicine tracker for the person who manages someone else's medicines — an aging parent, a partner, a child — and for keeping track of your own. Every dose you give or take goes on the record with one tap. The ring on Today fills as the day goes on; the week shows what was taken, skipped or missed. The readings the medicines are taken for sit right beside them. And before a doctor's visit, Brief turns the record into one clear page the doctor can read in a minute. — THE DAY, AT A GLANCE — • A reminder for each dose, at the times you set • Answer from the notification: Taken, Skip, or remind me in 15 minutes • Ring like an alarm: for the medicines you choose, an alarm at each dose time, even on silent or in a Focus • Today's ring, a tile per medicine, and the next dose above the tab bar with its own Taken button • Forgot to tap? Open any day of the week and set it straight — EVERY MEDICINE, YOUR WAY — • Name, dose and form: tablet, capsule, liquid, injection, drops, inhaler or patch — with name suggestions as you type • Times, instructions ("with food", "before bed") and a color of its own • A count of how many are left, and how long the supply lasts at its schedule • As-needed medicines, logged when they're taken • Skip a dose and say why — the reason goes on the doctor's page — READINGS — • Blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, heart rate, temperature and oxygen, in a tap • Each on its own chart, with the latest and the average; every reading listed • Your units: lb or kg, °F or °C, mg/dL or mmol/L • Readings are typed in by you. Brief measures nothing and judges nothing. — THE DOCTOR'S PAGE — • A one-page medication record (PDF): doses taken and missed, each medicine with its times, your readings as small charts, and your questions — dated, and marked as a record you kept, not medical advice • See a sample page before you make your own • A checklist the day before each appointment • Appointments, doctors, documents and questions for the doctor in one place • On iPhones with Apple Intelligence: paste or scan an after-visit summary and read it in plain English, processed on the device — INSIGHTS — • Doses taken over 7 days, or 30 with Premium: the week medicine by medicine, by time of day, and why doses were skipped — PRIVATE BY DESIGN — No account. No cloud. No sharing. Brief has no server: what you enter is stored on this iPhone, and the only things that leave it are what you choose to share, print or export. — FREE — • Unlimited medicines, reminders, alarms, dose logging and readings • The last 7 days of insights and reading charts • One doctor's page a month • One plain-English after-visit summary a month — PREMIUM — $4.99 a month, or $39.99 a year with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers (US prices; the App Store shows the price in your country). • 30 days of insights and reading charts • The last four weeks, day by day, to open and set straight • A breakdown for each medicine • Refill reminders: a notification when a medicine reaches the level you set • Unlimited doctor's pages and plain-English summaries Brief keeps the record. It does not give medical advice, interpret readings, calculate doses or check interactions. Check with a doctor or pharmacist before changing any medicine. Requires iOS 26 or later. The plain-English summary needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence. Privacy Policy: https://zhukouski.com/carebrief/privacy.html Terms of Use: https://zhukouski.com/carebrief/terms.html Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. What’s new
Version 1.2 · Updated October 15, 2026
Brief is now a medicine tracker, for the medicines you manage for someone else or your own. • Today shows the day's doses. Mark each Taken or Skip and the ring fills. Several pills due at once? Mark them all taken in one tap. • Answer a reminder from the notification: Taken, Skip, or remind me in 15 minutes. • Ring like an alarm: turn it on for a medicine and it rings at each dose time, even on silent or in a Focus, until you stop it. • Readings: blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, heart rate, temperature and oxygen, logged in a tap, charted, and printed on the doctor's page. Your units: lb or kg, °F or °C, mg/dL or mmol/L. • Forgot to tap Taken? Open any day of the week and set it straight, taken at its time or skipped with a reason. Skip a dose and Brief asks why; the reason goes on the doctor's page. • Insights: 7 days of doses, or 30 with Premium. The week medicine by medicine, doses by time of day, and why doses were skipped. • Each medicine shows when its doses were taken and how long its supply lasts. Medicine names are suggested as you type. • A new design and typeface. Increase Contrast and Bold Text are honored. What you logged in 1.0 is still here. The journal is now Readings; your earlier entries are kept under More > Earlier journal and still print on the doctor's page. Appointments, doctors, documents and Settings moved to More. Voice notes left with the journal, and the alternate app icons are retired. The keyboard's own dictation works in every field. Needs iOS 26. What you enter stays on your iPhone. [email protected]. A real person reads every message.
