About CircleRecs

CircleRecs is the map built from people you trust - private Circles first, with optional public creators you can follow. Save restaurants, bars, cafes, galleries, stays, and little places worth remembering. Share your best finds inside private Circles, explore what your people recommend nearby, follow public creators for more inspiration, and ask for ideas in natural language when you do not know where to start. • Build one personal map across cities and trips • Share recommendations with the Circles you choose • Discover and follow public creators and see the picks they share with followers • See the source behind every recommendation • Add notes and photos so the useful detail is never lost • Import selected saved and starred places from Google Maps into private My Places • Ask for a date spot, a pastry run, good sound, or a simple day plan • Keep private saves private until you decide to share AI suggestions can be incomplete. Important details such as opening hours, bookings, and travel requirements should always be checked with the venue or original source. What’s new

Version 1.2.4 · Updated October 20, 2026

We won “Gründerszene sucht die Supergründer”! To thank you for your feedback, we’re celebrating with a community giveaway with 3 × €100 prizes. You’ll find all details and entry rules in the app. New in 1.2.4: • One look for every place: recommendations, trends and places nearby show a photo, "Why this place?" and the key actions at a glance. • One place, one pin: a place that is both a recommendation and a trend now appears once – on the map and in Ask. • When adding a place, check any search result on the map before choosing it. • Share trends and places nearby as a CircleRecs link – your friends land right on the place. • Your saved places now show photos and "Why this place?" too. • Start trends for a new city with a tap and watch them being found live. • More photos on recommendations and more reliable loading. Recently added: • Trends: popular places in your city, researched by AI from public sources. • Photos from Google Maps and short AI descriptions for many places. • Ask your people: send questions to followers and groups and collect their tips. • Stories with your own photos, videos and lists, places nearby and creators to follow. • Sign in with email, Apple or Google.
