About PeakWait: Ski Lift Wait Times
Live lift waits from skiers on the hill right now, across every mountain, not locked to one pass. See which lifts are Moving, Short, Busy, or Long, find the shortest wait, and spend your day skiing instead of standing in it. • Real waits, never a fake "0 minutes." When we don't know, we say so. • 116 mountains, one app. Works with any pass (Epic, Ikon, or local). • Now in Chile and Argentina: Portillo, Valle Nevado, Cerro Catedral and more. • Where to ski today: the smart pick across your mountains. • Find your crew live on the mountain. • Your ski day, tracked: vertical, runs, and your whole season. Free forever: live status, wait reporting, and finding your friends. PeakWait Plus adds the smart guide, powder alerts, and your season stats. Ski the mountain, skip the wait. What’s new
Version 1.4 · Updated October 7, 2026
Report the lift you're on. Once you've boarded, the app knows which lift it is and takes your report from the chair, placed at the base where you waited. A wait counts only when your phone saw all of it, from reaching the lift to boarding. Anything less is listed as a ride, never sent as a wait. Before anyone has measured a lift, its row says what that hour usually looks like, clearly marked as typical. Your own timed wait shows on the row at once. A mountain shows as open the moment its lifts are running, even before the calendar says so. Also: two lifts taken back to back count as two, weather in your units, and saved reports send as soon as you're back online.
