RECRUITING IS A PERSONALITY MATCH Every prospect weighs your NIL offer, your program's prestige, distance from home, and the role you're promising differently — Bag Chasers, Homebodies, Loyal types, and more all recruit differently. Scout through a real fog of war, build a board, and win recruiting battles that aren't just about who pays the most. TWO BUDGETS, ONE PROGRAM Juggle revenue share (the House Settlement cap) and a donor-funded NIL collective. Two separate wallets with two different jobs, the same real financial tension every actual college program runs on right now. A REAL SIM, NOT A SCORE GENERATOR Every game runs on a shift-based engine — four forward lines, three defense pairs, real fatigue that piles up fast on a line that overstays its shift. An animated rink view with play-by-play lets you watch it all happen live. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED A miserable player trains slower. Slower development risks the transfer portal — and a program that loses its locker room this year recruits against a tougher board next year. No system here sits in isolation; pull one lever and watch three more move. BUILD THE WHOLE PROGRAM Staff four support-staff roles and invest in six facility tracks — including Academic Support, which keeps a shaky GPA from becoming a lineup problem in March. Manage program prestige, your own job security, and the Pro Draft and pro departures every offseason. CHASE THE RANKINGS THAT ACTUALLY MATTER Built on the National Percentage Index (NPI) — a resume-based ranking system in the spirit of real college hockey's own selection metric — with conference tournaments, automatic bids, and a full 16-team National Tournament field. A DEEP GAME GUIDE, BUILT IN Every system — recruiting, finances, player development, the offseason — is documented in a full in-app game guide, so you're never guessing what a number actually means. SHOWCASE TOURNAMENTS & RIVALRIES • The Great Lakes Classic and Harbor Cup are now early-season events — the top 2 programs from two conferences play a genuine holiday bracket, with a real consolation game that counts in the record book. • Only your 3 fiercest rivals carry the rivalry badge now, and a brand-new dynasty starts with a handful of rivalries already in place. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT • Running Revenue Share negative now has real consequences — an escalating warning ladder leading to Financial Distress, with two real ways to dig out. • Booster Dinners and Booster Pressure moments can now net NIL Collective money (or cost you some). • Rebuilding programs get an occasional shot at a hire above their station. • Facilities can now be downgraded, not just built up, to right-size your program. YOUR ROSTER • Your best players now feel real pressure to perform at their role and archetype. They get a temporary mood swing. • Player development got deeper: a hidden "makeup" factor, a softened age curve for upperclassmen, and real developmental setbacks from heavy injury seasons. • A broken lineup now tells you exactly what's wrong and offers to Auto-Fix it — AI lineups auto-fill short-handed spots too. • The Bye Week screen does a better job showing the impact of every activity. POSTSEASON • All-Conference and All-American defensemen now get real credit for offense, not just shutdown play. • Game previews (with a live Watch Game option) are now consistent everywhere — tournament games, League Scores, and team profiles. • A season with multiple championships now displays every title badge. • Simulating a tournament can now skip straight to the results. A QUIETER, SHARPER NEWS FEED • Repeated banner types (Mock Draft, Awards Race, Milestones) roll up into one. Rivalry doubleheaders get one banner instead of two. • Marquee stories now show up the week they happen, sorted chronologically, with richer injury context and more varied headlines. ALSO NEW • New dynasties no longer start with a fully undrafted league — a realistic slice ofupperclassmen already hold pro draft rights, just like real college hockey. • Fun Stats: a new tab under League → Stats → History with hotbeds, streaks, draft steals, and more. • Countless smaller fixes across the Draft, Offseason transitions, player animations, and league news.
