About KIYO: Period & Daily Planner
Your plans matter. So does how you feel. Kiyo brings planning and your menstrual cycle together, so you can organize your days with your body’s rhythm in view. See what matters today, plan what’s ahead, build habits that last, and understand your own patterns over time. ■ SEE TODAY CLEARLY See your schedule, tasks, habits, and important countdowns together in one view. Follow timed events on a daily timeline, keep action items as tasks, and check the habits you want to continue. Star what matters most, save non-urgent tasks for Someday, and turn important events into D-Day countdowns. Open Kiyo and quickly know what needs your attention today. ■ PLAN AHEAD WITH YOUR CYCLE IN VIEW See your monthly plans and expected cycle phases together on the same calendar. Before a trip, appointment, busy week, or important event, check what may be coming and decide whether it changes how you want to plan. Your cycle is context, not a rule. Kiyo does not tell you when to work, rest, exercise, or make plans. It gives you more context so you can make those decisions for yourself. ■ KEEP EVENTS, TASKS, AND HABITS IN THEIR PLACE Events are about when. Tasks are about what. Habits are about the changes you want to keep building. Kiyo keeps each one clear while bringing everything that matters today into one place. Your calendar stays a calendar. Your to-do list stays focused. And your habits have room to become part of your everyday life. ■ BUILD CHANGE THROUGH SMALL ACTIONS Create habits you want to continue or challenges with a clear beginning and end. Follow streaks, completion rates, and weekly patterns to see how your actions are adding up over time. Consistency does not have to mean perfection. Miss a day, come back, and keep going. ■ UNDERSTAND YOUR BODY’S RHYTHM See your current cycle phase, upcoming period forecast, and cycle history. Over time, look back at your own records alongside your tasks and habits to notice patterns that repeat and understand your days with more context. The goal is not to plan your life around your cycle. It is to understand your body better and decide what works for you. ■ USE CYCLE FEATURES ONLY WHEN YOU WANT THEM Kiyo works as a planning app even if you never use its cycle features. Cycle features are off by default. Turn them on only when they are useful to you. Private Mode lets you hide cycle-phase names and show only the markers you choose. Your cycle records are not sent to Google Calendar or Google Tasks and are not used for advertising. ■ START WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Start using Kiyo right away on the web or on your iPhone, without creating an account. Sign in with Apple or Google if you want to keep your records available across devices. You can also connect Google Calendar and Google Tasks whenever you choose. MORE FEATURES • Seven visual themes • Daily and habit reminders • D-Day countdowns for important events • Monthly goals • Monthly views for events and tasks • Google Calendar and Google Tasks integration • Available on web and iOS Kiyo’s menstrual-cycle information is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice and should not be used for diagnosis, treatment, contraception, or other medical decisions.
What’s new
Version 1.2.4 · Updated September 30, 2026
Move unfinished to-dos to today in one tap, plus a clearer Cycle screen. What's new - Left some to-dos unfinished? Tap "Move to today" on your to-do list to bring them to the top of today's list. You can undo right after. - When nothing's left on today's schedule, the Up next card on Daily shows tomorrow's first event. - The top of the Cycle screen now reads like "Luteal · Day 4," with your start date and cycle day underneath. - Past your expected start date? The Cycle screen now shows how many days it's been. After 14 days with no new start logged, that count replaces the phase, Kiyo asks you to log the date, and Monthly pauses future estimates. - To-dos you made before connecting Google can now be added to Google Tasks. Fixes - To-do checkboxes are easier to tap, and empty boxes are easier to see. - Habit check marks are now clearly visible in the Midnight theme. - Repeating events no longer show as "In progress" from midnight. - Discreet mode no longer shows the word "period" on the Cycle screen before you've added your cycle info. - Screen readers describe calendar days and buttons more accurately. - Moving a habit's start date no longer clears its time. - Fixed an issue that could freeze the app when turning on cycle syncing. - Long month names no longer get cut off in the month picker.
