About FuseSchedule
FuseSchedule solves the things that ruin kiln-formed glass: incompatible COE, an anneal that was too short — and now the cutting, the lampwork and the enamel around it. COMPATIBILITY, BEFORE THE KILN CLOSES Add every part of your piece — sheets, frit, stringers, dichroic. The moment two coefficients of expansion clash, a clear warning tells you which part to pull. A FUSING SCHEDULE MATCHED TO YOUR GLASS Choose full fuse, contour, tack, slump or fire polish and set your thickness. FuseSchedule builds the program: initial ramp, bubble squeeze, process temperature, and an anneal soak and cool rate for how thick the piece is. Each step explains itself, with the curve drawn. LAMPWORK (NEW) Beads and sculpture annealed to published figures — Bullseye's annealing chart, SCHOTT DURAN data for borosilicate, and the Effetre and Double Helix figures for soft glass, each named in Sources. One load, one program: the thickest piece governs and pieces that need different soak points are kept apart. Follow the program on a run timer and log how each batch held up a week later. CUTTING (NEW) Enter your sheets and the pieces of a pattern — rectangles, circles, triangles — with the gap you leave. FuseSchedule lays them out sheet by sheet with the offcut share, keeps grain direction where you ask, and totals the glass cost from your prices. ENAMEL (NEW) Vitreous enamel on copper, fine and sterling silver, gold, gilding metal and steel: firing temperatures and the sugar–orange-peel–gloss stages from published enamelling guides, a timer for each firing, and a journal that learns your own kiln's gloss window. WORKS AT THE KILN Everything runs on-device. FREE · COE compatibility check and generated fusing schedules · Three lampwork pieces, two cut plans, three enamel pieces — each with every firing logged FUSESCHEDULE PRO · Every lampwork piece, and your own anneal programs · Every cut plan, more sheet sizes, cost and grain · Every enamel piece, and your own firing times Pro is $29.99/year with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. GLASS FAMILIES COE 90 (Bullseye), COE 96 (System 96 / Oceanside), and COE 104 (Effetre / lampwork). A NOTE ON ACCURACY Schedules and firing times are a well-founded starting point, not a guarantee. Glass and enamel behave differently by maker, batch, kiln and piece — test, log your results and adjust. Never shortcut the anneal.
