Guidance: Bible Verse & Prayer

The right word for right now. Some days you don't have the words. Guidance helps you find them. Tell it how you are, or ask what you're wondering, and it brings you a passage of Scripture for that moment, a few plain words on why it fits, and a prayer to help you pray it. No account. No ads. No feed to scroll. Scripture, prayers and your Journal all live on your iPhone and work offline. HOW ARE YOU, REALLY? Choose one feeling or several, like anxious, grieving, lonely, grateful, far from God or facing a big decision, or say it in your own words. Twenty of life's real situations, each with passages chosen for it. WHAT ARE YOU WONDERING? Questions are welcome here, doubt included. Is anyone there? How do I pray? Can I be forgiven? Why is there suffering? Nine honest questions, each met with Scripture and a short reflection. THE WHOLE BIBLE All 66 books, Genesis to Revelation, every word as printed, here on your iPhone and offline. Search for a word or a phrase, or go straight to John 3:16. A ribbon keeps your place in every book, to the verse. Follow a plan a chapter a day, like John in three weeks, a Psalm a day or Luke before Christmas, and invite someone to read it with you. Miss a day and it waits. WRITE IT DOWN Each day brings a gentle question, and every chapter ends with room to write about what stayed with you. At night, two questions, one line each, a blessing, then rest. Everything you keep and write is in your Journal, searchable, and you can export it as plain text. PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE Add the people you're praying for, and each day Guidance gives you a passage and a short prayer with their name in it, until you mark the prayer answered. Each one has a candle, lit on the days you pray for them, and an answered prayer becomes a star. Ask someone to pray for you with a card you send from Messages, or anywhere you choose. WALK WITH IT FOR A WEEK Seven-day walks for grief, an anxious mind, being worn out, coming home, letting go, learning to pray, and wondering whether anyone is there: one passage and one small practice a day. SIT WITH THIS Give any passage a quiet screen of its own, a phrase at a time or whole, read silently or aloud. EVERY VERSE, WORD FOR WORD Guidance never writes, paraphrases or changes Scripture. Every verse is quoted exactly from the World English Bible, a public-domain translation bundled in the app. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Nothing is collected. Your notes, your prayers and the names you pray for stay on your iPhone, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to send a card. If what you type sounds like you may be in danger, Guidance shows crisis lines before anything else.
