About Showries

Everything you watch. In one place. Your personal diary for TV shows and films: fast to update, beautiful to explore, made for people who take the couch seriously. Start tracking straight away — no account required. Link Apple, Google or an email later, and everything follows you to your other devices. ONE TAP. LOGGED. Mark an episode the moment it ends. The shutter snaps, Up Next moves on, and you always know where you left off. Track shows and films as watched, watching, planned or dropped, episode by episode — with a complete history of everything you have seen. THE AFTER-WATCH IS A RITUAL Rate shows, seasons and episodes. Write a review while it is still fresh, add a reaction, or join the conversation with a comment and a GIF. Spoiler protection keeps reviews and comments hidden until you are ready. Reaction percentages appear only once enough people have voted, so no single opinion sets the tone. Follow people, see what they are watching, like their activity and reply to the conversation. SHARING, DONE PROPERLY This is where Showries shines. Every opinion becomes something worth posting. Turn reviews, comments, reactions, predictions and winners into polished visual content: 9:16 stories for Instagram and TikTok, animated GIF comments, review carousels, quote cards and event results. Write the quote your way: pick the part that matters, set words in bold or italic, choose the size and watch the story change as you type. Too much to say? Showries splits it into numbered stories, ready to post in order — or saves them all to your photos at once. YOUR YEAR, TOLD PROPERLY See how much you have watched, what is still waiting, what you rewatched and which platforms you actually use. Explore your diary, monthly summaries, statistics and a year-end Wrapped made to share. AWARDS NIGHT, LIVE Follow the Oscars, Emmys, BAFTA, Golden Globes, Critics Choice, Cannes, Venice and more. See the nominees connected to your library, discover which films and people you have already watched, and follow the winners live. Live Activities bring the ceremony to your Lock Screen with live progress and the latest winners — follow the night without opening the app, and get a notification when a title you have watched wins. MAKE YOUR PREDICTIONS Think you know who will win? Choose your favourites before the ceremony starts. Predictions lock when the event begins, and once the winners are in, Showries tells you how many you got right — ready to share as a scorecard. VERIFIED VOICES Critics, press, creators, industry professionals, festivals and official organisations can request a verified seal, reviewed by a human. Verified members are recognised by their category, carry their affiliation next to their name, and can write about eligible titles before release. What’s new

Version 1.1.3 · Updated October 7, 2026

An update for iPhone and iPad: more reliable sign-in, ready-made lists, your friends' week in review, a new mark for collections and lots of fixes. - Forgot your password? Now you can reset it: in "Sign in with email", tap "Forgot password?", get a code by email and choose a new password. - "Sign in with Apple" no longer fails if you tap the button several times while Apple's sheet is opening, and if something goes wrong, a clear message tells you what to do. - Wrong email or password? The message now reminds you: if you created your account with Apple or Google, use that button, since those methods have no password. - Creating your account with email? When you confirm your address from the link and come back to the app, Showries notices right away, so you can already review, follow and like. Resending the email with the same password no longer shows an error. - Password fields have an eye button: tap it to see what you typed. - Import from another app (TV Time, Trakt, Letterboxd): you now need an account, so your imported library isn't lost. No account? Create one or sign in right there, and the import opens by itself. - Episode page: the still shows "Episode 3 of 12", and the arrows take you to the previous or next one, even when the season changes ("S2 · E1 ›"). - My lists: if you don't have any yet, four ready-made lists you create with one tap, already filled with titles from your watchlist and the ones you hearted: "To watch this weekend", "All-time favorites", "To watch with…" and "Horror marathon". - Feed, Friends tab: your week in review at the top, with "Most watched by your friends" and "People you may know", to follow new people from there. - Events: collections picked by Showries have a mark of their own, three stacked cards instead of the little star: you'll see it on the card, at the top of the page and in the stories you share. And the card counts everything inside, people included ("12 PICKS"). - Your watchlist no longer disappears when you reopen the app: Home, your profile and iPhone search show it right away, and on iPad recent releases are in Notifications at once. - "Where to watch", release dates, age ratings and Discover follow your iPhone's region, not the app language: if you live in Italy and use Showries in English, you see Italian services and releases. - On iPad, in Split View, Slide Over and resizable windows, screens open at the right size, with no columns appearing and then vanishing. - Larger text: it now also grows on screens that stayed small, and at Accessibility sizes Up Next titles can wrap onto two lines. Text stops growing at the third Accessibility size. - Award show Live Activities: when the live show starts, the awards bar moves forward even if you hadn't opened the app, and the "Predictions" button in the Dynamic Island really opens your predictions. - At award shows like the Emmys, winners now appear at the top of their category. Fixes: - On first launch with a slow connection, sign-in and picking a username wait for the network instead of failing at once. - The "NEW" pill also appears in festival award lists. - On iPad with two windows, Apple's confirmation to delete your account appears on the first tap. - VoiceOver reads the translated category name on award "Share" buttons. - Correct singulars ("1 TITLE") and more consistent Japanese. - An outdated TV Time notice is gone. - When you change language, featured and event titles update without switching tabs. - The X in Search opened from Home takes you back to Home. - "Add all to your list" is no longer cut off. - The Apple, Google and email sign-in buttons are the same width on large iPhones and iPad too.
