AMPAD is a guitar rig and recording studio built for iPad. Plug in a USB audio interface and play through five circuit-modelled amps or load your own Neural Amp Modeler captures. Then record, arrange and mix — without leaving the app. AMPS Five original amp models, each with its own control layout rather than one generic set of knobs. Choose a microphone, move it across the cone, and set how much room you hear. NAM CAPTURES Load .nam files and play them live. Both the classic and Architecture 2 formats are supported. Eight slots, four recallable presets each, with a noise gate, three-band EQ and an impulse response loader for cabinets. FIFTEEN PEDALS A boost, a compressor, overdrive, fuzz, a vintage compander, two choruses, a vibrato, tremolo, tape delay, digital delay, and two reverbs — every one built from measurement rather than a preset curve. Drop up to eight onto the board, drag to reorder, and the signal path follows exactly what you see. STEREO Switch a rig to stereo and the delays and reverbs open up into two genuine channels, carried independently through everything downstream and into a matched pair of amp instances. THE STUDIO Multitrack recording with a timeline built for touch. Trim, move, loop, comp and split takes. Warp the tempo of a finished arrangement. Bounce a mix when you’re done. Every take is captured twice — once through your rig and once clean. So you can change the amp, swap a capture, or rebuild the whole pedal chain long after the performance, and hear it re-rendered against the original playing. PER-TRACK RIGS Each track owns its own signal chain, edited as a chain: tap any block to open its controls underneath. Save a whole rig — pedals, order, settings, amp and all — and recall it on any track in any project. SESSION DRUMMER Build drum parts from patterns with a sampled kit, in three feels tuned to different eras of production. ALSO INSIDE A chromatic tuner with five tunings, a sample-accurate metronome with tap tempo, and per-track volume, pan, mute and solo. An audio interface is recommended for the lowest latency.
