Tired of reading those parking signs and trying to decipher what they mean? The app uses your location, checks every parking rule for that spot, and tells you in plain English whether it is safe to park there. No more squinting at street signs. No more working out whether this is the first or the third Monday of the month. No more meters that say one thing while the sign above them says another, all while parking enforcement and a tow truck are ready to make you regret owning a car in this city. Forgot to move your car before street sweeping? Hope you like parking tickets with your morning cereal. Thought you'd remember to move it before rush hour? Congrats, you won the lottery! With your next paycheck you get to pay a ransom to get your car back. WHAT IT DOES You drove around for thirty minutes and finally found a spot. This tells you whether you should park there and if it is safe. The app looks up every parking rule for where you are. It checks: • Street sweeping schedules. Set a reminder and move your car before the street sweepers arrive. • Tow-away windows, from posted signs and meter policy. • Parking meters, with rates and hours. • Parking regulations, including when no-parking windows are enforced. • Residential permit zones, so you know what permit is required. REMINDERS • A push notification when street sweeping is about to start • A calendar event, if that runs your life • A live notification that stays on your Lock Screen so you cannot forget • A Home Screen widget showing a map of where your car is and when you need to move it Tap the app's widget and it will give you directions to where you parked your car. Because knowing the parking rules is only half the battle; remembering where you parked is the other half.
