About Nixring: Spam Call Blocker

Nixring is the privacy-first way to stop spam calls and scam texts on your iPhone, and it does it all on your device. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE Your contacts and blocklist are never uploaded. Nixring has no account and no server that receives your data: the Pro blocklist update only downloads a public file. We cannot sell what we never see. The free version loads advertising from Google, and Nixring Pro removes it. Nixring never even asks for access to your contacts. BLOCK SPAM CALLS AUTOMATICALLY Nixring silences known spam and scam callers using an on-device blocklist. Add your own numbers, and with Pro, keep the list updated automatically. KILL JUNK AND SCAM TEXTS Turn on Nixring's on-device SMS filter and scam texts (smishing) from unknown senders move to a Junk folder automatically. Message content is never stored or sent anywhere. Ever. NEVER LOSE A REAL CALL Whitelist the people you trust and they are never blocked. Everything Nixring blocks is reversible in one tap. No "we don't remove spam flags" nonsense. ONE FAIR PRICE The free version is paid for by ads, and Pro removes them. No confusing bundle of add-ons. Nixring Pro is one honest subscription with a 3-day free trial. NIXRING FREE - Automatic spam-call blocking with the built-in list - Add up to 10 of your own numbers - See how many numbers are shielding you NIXRING PRO (3-day free trial) - Unlimited blocked numbers - Junk and scam text filtering - Auto-updating spam blocklist - Block whole prefixes and number ranges - Whitelist real callers - Full protection stats Setup takes a minute. Nixring walks you through enabling it in Settings. A note on how iOS works: Apple limits how third-party apps block calls, so Nixring works from an on-device list rather than screening calls live. iOS also never reports blocked calls back to apps, so no honest app can show a real "calls blocked" count. Nixring shows how many numbers are actively shielding you, plus a real count of texts filtered. What’s new

Version 1.1.0 · Updated August 31, 2026

Nixring now shows ads. A banner sits at the bottom of the main screen, the Blocklist and Settings, and one full screen ad appears after a number has actually been added to your list. The banner disappears while the number pad is open, and the list keeps its swipe to delete. The Call Directory and Message Filter extensions contain no advertising code at all. What blocks your calls and files your junk texts is exactly as clean as it was, checked against the built bundle. Nothing is shown in Protection status or during setup either. Nixring Pro removes the advertising, on top of everything Pro already unlocks. With Pro you see no ads at all, not even in the moment after launch while the subscription is still being read. Subscriptions are now read properly. One you have cancelled stays ad free until the period you paid for runs out, and a billing grace period stays ad free too. Only a subscription that has really expired brings ads back. The privacy card still said no server and no data collected. With advertising that was wrong, and it has been corrected. Where consent for ads is required, the advertising privacy settings are in Settings and can be changed at any time.
