About Hifz Quran: Memorize & Repeat

Memorize the Quran one ayah at a time. Listen to an ayah many times, then say it yourself. You read from a mushaf page that looks like the printed Quran. "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027) REPEAT ANY AYAH • Choose one ayah, many ayat, a surah, or a whole juz. • Choose how many times each ayah plays: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, or with no limit. • Choose how many times the whole group plays. • Add each new ayah to the ayat before it, so you learn them together for your sabaq. • Add a pause after each ayah, so you can say it yourself. • You can start from the last ayah and go back to the first. • Make the recitation slower or faster. • It keeps playing when your phone is locked. 31 RECITERS • Each ayah is recorded on its own, so every repeat starts and stops in the right place. • Sheikh Husary's teaching recording (Muallim), Mishary Alafasy, Minshawi, Abdul Basit, Sudais, Shuraim, Ghamdi, Muaiqly, and more. • Bismillah plays once before a surah, not before every repeat. • After an ayah plays once, it works without internet. THE MUSHAF • The Madina mushaf: 15 lines on each page, the same pages as the printed book. Page 562 in the app is page 562 in print. • The 15 line Indopak mushaf, used in South Asia. • The Classic Madina print (1405H). • You can turn on tajweed colours. A list explains what each colour means. • A gold mark shows where each juz starts. UNDERSTAND THE MEANING • 19 translations. • Hold your finger on a word to see its meaning in English, Urdu, Bengali, Indonesian, Persian, Turkish, Hindi, Tamil or French. • A short tafsir for every ayah, in 9 languages. • Press Listen, and the page follows the reciter, ayah by ayah. EVERY DAY • See how many days in a row you have read, and how many pages you read today. • On Friday, a reminder to read Surah al-Kahf. • New users see a short guide that shows how to start. PRAYER AND DUA • Prayer times for your city, with Ishraq, Duha and the last third of the night. • The qibla direction, and your distance to Makkah. • Widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen. They show the time until the next prayer. • An adhan or an alarm for each prayer, only if you turn it on. • Morning and evening adhkar, duas after salah, durood, and duas for each day. Each one shows where it comes from. SHARE THE APP The Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever guides to a good deed will get the same reward as the doer of that deed." What’s new

Version 3.0 · Updated October 5, 2026

Hifz Quran 3.0 is a new look for the whole app, and the first version for iPad. • A calmer look: every screen is cleaner, and the top of the page takes the colour of the sky at that hour. • iPad: turn it on its side and two pages open together, like a printed Quran. The surah list sits beside the page. • Indopak: the 15 line pages were checked line by line against the printed book. Words, signs and line breaks now match the print. • Salah: the whole day on one page, with the path of the sun. Swipe to see another day. • Isha after midnight: where Isha comes after 12 at night, the countdown and the adhan now wait for it. • Dua: the duas for this time of day are at the top, and the rest are in one simple list. • Widgets: a new look to match the app. • Settings: shorter and simpler. • Tap the tab you are on again to go back to the top. • At night, the cards stand out more clearly. • Faster when you change tabs, and many small fixes.
