Point your camera at any menu — foreign abroad or just unfamiliar at home — and get more than a translation. MenuLens explains every dish in plain English: what it is, how it's cooked, what it tastes like. Then it tells you what to order. Generic translators give you word salad. MenuLens reads the whole menu and builds a card for every dish, so you order on purpose instead of pointing at random. WHAT YOU GET - Scan a menu and get dish-by-dish cards: the original name, a plain-English explanation, a flavor and texture read, and an anchored heat scale. - "Order this" picks 2-3 dishes for your taste — spice tolerance, dietary patterns, and how adventurous you are — each with the reason it fits. - Advisory allergen flags mark dishes that likely contain what you've flagged, with the ingredient-level reason. Flagged dishes are shown, never hidden — always confirm with your server. - See a photo of an unfamiliar dish before you commit to ordering it. - Price context in your home currency, plus whether a dish is a snack, an individual plate, or meant for the table. - Every scan is saved to your history and readable offline, so the menus you've decoded travel with you.
