Closby: Meet New People Nearby

Closby helps you meet people who are out right where you are: the same cafe, park, gallery, gym or event. Make new friends, find company for today or see what's on nearby, instead of scrolling through strangers miles away. PEOPLE NEARBY • A live feed of people near you right now. You choose the distance. • Set a status so others know what you're up for: company, a chat or meeting someone new. • Say hi with a tap. A friendly message limit keeps it light until they reply. • Open to more? An optional dating mode helps you meet someone special, only if you turn it on. • Save the people you've met to your contacts and get a reminder on their birthday. EVENTS AND PLANS • Find events near you (a run, coffee, board games, a walk, a concert) and join with a tap. • Create your own at any place, or drop a pin anywhere on the map. • Keep it open to everyone, or approve each person who asks. • Everyone going shares one group chat. PLACES TO GO • A map of around 944,000 places in big cities across 50 countries in Europe and beyond: cafes, restaurants, bars, parks, museums, gyms, spas and saunas, libraries, coworking spaces, markets, hotels, beaches and more. • Search any place by name. • Check in when you arrive and see how many people are already there. • Share a photo highlight that disappears after a few hours. SAFE BY DESIGN • You're visible only while you choose to share your location. Switch it off and you disappear from the feed. • Your exact location, distance, age and phone number are never shown to anyone. • Block, restrict or report in one tap. Blocking can be undone in Settings. • Every photo is checked automatically before it appears. • 18+ only. Closby is available in English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian. Closby is for meeting people in the moment: new friends, good company, something to do. Head out, open Closby and see who's nearby.
