Vuelto

Vuelto is a formula calculator for iPhone and iPad. Instead of remembering how something is worked out, you look it up — or say it out loud — and the app asks you for the values and gives you the result, step by step. 225 READY-MADE FORMULAS Mathematics, statistics, geometry, physics, finance, accounting, daily life, health, engineering, chemistry and conversions. From till change, tips and discounts to compound interest, loan payments, body mass index or the ideal gas law. TALK, DON'T TYPE Tap the microphone and ask for a formula by name. Vuelto finds it, asks you for each value and gives you the result. Hands full, at the counter, or on site. If you like, it reads the values and the result out loud. BUILD YOUR OWN An editor made for one thumb: letters and numbers share the same slot, 49 symbols one tap away, and several lines to chain results. Named variables, not stray letters you won't recognise later. Test it before you save it. THE RESULT, AND THE PATH TO IT Every calculation is laid out step by step, with the values you entered and what it did with them. The last result stays at hand to chain into the next one. And the change formula suggests which bills and coins to hand back, using your country's denominations. YOUR NUMBERS ARE YOURS Vuelto has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers of its own. It works offline. Your own formulas and favourites sync through your private iCloud, at no cost. History never leaves the device.
