About Allersense: Food Allergy App

Allersense reads food labels, dishes and menus, then tells you in seconds whether a food is a problem for your allergies, or for your loved ones'. It also alerts you when a product is recalled for an undeclared allergen. A CLEAR VERDICT, BASED ON YOUR PROFILE Take a photo of a label, a dish or a restaurant menu. Allersense extracts the ingredients and checks them against your profile. You get a three-color verdict: • DANGER (red): an ingredient to avoid is present, highlighted in the list • RISK (orange): traces, "may contain", an ambiguous ingredient or an uncertain reading • OK (green): no risky ingredient detected Every flag is explained: which allergen, which ingredient, and why. When in doubt, Allersense shows RISK, never OK. LABEL TRAPS, CAUGHT Casein, whey, spelt, praline, E-numbers, "may contain": Allersense spots hidden names, even on labels in French, Spanish, Italian or German. PRODUCT RECALL ALERTS Allersense follows official recalls for undeclared allergens in 7 regions (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, European Union) and shows you the ones that match your profile. EVERYTHING YOU NEED WHEN YOU LEAVE HOME • Restaurant card: your allergies explained to the waiter in 9 languages, full screen • PDF allergy sheet: restrictions, instructions and emergency contacts for school, the cafeteria, work or family • Profile sharing by QR code: someone close to you can check food for that person, with the same restrictions • My list: what to avoid, what is doubtful and what is OK despite its name, available offline TUNED TO YOU • The 14 major allergens recognized in the EU, intolerances (lactose, FODMAP, histamine) and diets (vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher, keto) • One severity per restriction: strict, moderate or preference • Tolerated foods: during reintroduction, a food can stop being flagged (never for a strict allergy) • One profile per person: you, your kids, the whole family FREE, NO ACCOUNT, WORKS OFFLINE Without a subscription, all of this is free and unlimited: product search by name, typing ingredients by hand, My list, your history, the restaurant card, the PDF sheet and recall alerts. No account needed. An optional Apple or Google account backs up your profile when you change phones. Your photos are not kept on our servers, and your history stays on your phone. ALLERSENSE PREMIUM Photo scanning (labels, dishes, menus) uses AI: it is the only paid feature. Your first scan is free. After that, choose Allersense Premium (3-day free trial, then a monthly or yearly subscription with unlimited scans) or a pack of scans with no subscription. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, from your account settings. Allersense helps you read food labels. It is not medical advice and not a medical device. Always check the packaging and, when in doubt, ask a healthcare professional. What’s new

Version 2.0.0 · Updated September 26, 2026

Allersense 2.0 turns the app into the complete folder for your child's allergy. THE EMERGENCY KIT Where the auto-injector is kept, its expiry date, your instructions and your contacts. A reminder warns you before it expires, and numbers are one tap away. All of it appears in the PDF you hand to the school. ONE VERDICT FOR SEVERAL PEOPLE Pick who is eating before you scan. The result accounts for everyone and breaks down person by person. WHAT THEY CAN EAT The list of products you have already scanned with no allergen detected, ready for the grocery run. SHARING BY QR Grandma or the babysitter scan your QR from their own app and get the profile, emergency kit included. No link to send, nothing goes through a server. FULL REDESIGN A new look across every screen, the scanner available as soon as you open the app, allergy card and PDF redrawn. ALSO Product recall alerts now appear on the home screen, filtered by profile. When a product does not suit, the app suggests equivalents from the same aisle. Sign in with Apple or Google to find your profile again on another phone. FIXES Much faster navigation, recall collection repaired, and one important fix: a restaurant dish can no longer show up as safe in your history.
