Start with guided creation, edit a record, or save a separate patient state for the next activity. On iPhone Duo, review the source chart beside your learner note when space permits. Keep your draft as the display changes, use Done typing to dismiss the keyboard, then save and reopen your note. BUILD CASES AND COMPLETE LESSONS Import printed simulated EHRs from scans, photos, or PDFs. Text recognition runs on your device. Compare fields with source pages, correct values, and review before saving. Resume unfinished imports later. Arrange charts and activities into ordered Case Bundles with group instructions. Create chart hunts, trends, handoff practice, medication safety, patient teaching, prioritization, and interprofessional rounds. Keep a faculty master and choose Student Safe content for learners. Choose Lock by QR when sharing a case or selected bundle. Distribute the encrypted file first, then release its separate QR image or complete code when class begins. Learners review and import after unlocking. Every included bundle stage becomes available together; distribute future stages separately. Anyone with the matching file and code can unlock it. Release codes do not verify identity or revoke imported copies. PRACTICE CHARTING AND MEDICATION WORK Start independent learner attempts, write notes and assessments, sign entries, and add amendments while preserving original work. Exchange submissions, faculty feedback, and revisions through files you choose to share. Create medication assignments with explicit dose occasions, routes, timing, verification, second checks, and reassessment. Choose Practice with coaching or Assessment without coaching. Advance the scenario clock, activate faculty-defined findings and order changes, record decisions with evidence, and replay actions and patient responses. Faculty score the published rubric and return feedback for revision. ChartSlate enforces configured exercise requirements; faculty judge clinical reasoning. It does not calculate clinical doses or automatically grade clinical appropriateness. SHARE THE RIGHT REPORT Preview a selected signed submission as PDF or accessible HTML, save it to Files, and attach it manually to your LMS. Export a ChartSlate work file for reopening and revision, or a CSV of completed faculty medication reviews for manual mapping. Review each export; text entered in narratives and feedback remains visible. Share Student Safe cases with learners or Full Instructor files with colleagues. Student exports omit faculty-only fields, printed-source attachments, and recognition records. Compatible SimulationCase exports support Bedside Coach. Nearby High Fidelity Simulation can release new chart findings to connected learners. OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE ASSISTANCE Use an available Apple on-device model to draft teaching takeaways, teach-back questions, or faculty feedback. Review suggestions before accepting them. Manual tools remain available. Supported iOS and iPadOS 27 devices can recognize and review handwritten teaching notes while retaining original ink. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, advertising, developer analytics, or tracking. Charts and learner work stay on your device unless you choose to share files or start a nearby session. Optional model assistance runs on device with no cloud model fallback. Your chosen LMS or iCloud Drive may require connectivity outside the app. For simulated education only.
