Dodast: Sync Music Player

Start a silent disco with the phones already in the room. Dodast is an offline music player and video player for the files on your device, and it syncs playback across phones so everyone hears the same song at the same moment, each on their own headphones or all together as one big speaker. SYNC MUSIC ACROSS PHONES One phone hosts. Guests join over the same Wi-Fi, or over the host's hotspot when there is no network around. They are found automatically under Nearby, or they scan a QR code. From that moment every device plays in step as one. Stack phones into a fuller, louder speaker setup and fill a kitchen, a backyard, a tent or a car. No Bluetooth speaker needed. SILENT DISCO ON YOUR OWN HEADPHONES Everyone on the same song at the same moment, nobody disturbing the neighbors. Each guest listens on their own headphones, sets their own volume and can nudge the sync timing by hand if a device runs a hair ahead or behind. Perfect for a dorm, a hostel, an apartment with thin walls or a party that has to stay silent. WATCH TOGETHER, HEAR IT ON EVERY PHONE Put a video on one screen and let the whole room hear it in sync, each on their own headphones. One device carries the picture, every other phone carries the sound. Made for the moments a speaker would ruin: a show after the house is asleep, a late movie in a shared room, anywhere everyone wants their own volume. A REAL OFFLINE MUSIC PLAYER Dodast is a local music player you would use every day, sync or not. It scans the MP3, FLAC, WAV, M4A and other audio and video files already on your iPhone, reads tags and album art, then stays out of your way. • Browse by songs, albums, artists and folders • Build playlists and reorder them freely • Fast search across your whole library • Crossfade between songs • Sleep timer for the end of the night • Background playback and lock screen controls • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets • 20 languages • Works with no internet connection at all THE MUSIC ALREADY ON YOUR IPHONE Dodast plays the music library already on your iPhone: the songs you bought and downloaded, tracks you imported from your Mac or PC, files saved in the Files app, and anything shared to Dodast from another app. Years of collecting, finally playing on every phone in the room at once. No more passing one earbud back and forth. Music from a streaming subscription stays protected by its provider and cannot be played by any third-party app. NO ACCOUNT, NO CLOUD Nothing is uploaded to a server. The phones connect directly to each other on your local network. No account, no sign-up.
