Electrician Apprentice Hours

Every hour you work counts toward your license — if you can prove it. Electrician Apprentice Hours is a jobsite hour log and NEC calculator built for US electrician apprentices working toward journeyman. Log the day in seconds, keep a record your licensing board can actually read, and run the everyday calculations without leaving the app. Completely free. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads. LOG YOUR OJT HOURS IN SECONDS • Tap the hours, pick a category, save — a full day takes about five seconds • Enter total hours or start–end times • Tag every entry with employer, work category and an optional note • Logging and calculators work fully offline, anywhere on the jobsite SEE HOW CLOSE YOU ARE • Live progress toward your hour goal — 8,000 by default, or set your own • Hours remaining and hours logged this week, at a glance • Totals broken out by work category and by employer A RECORD YOUR BOARD CAN READ • The 8 standard OJT work categories — rename, recolor, reorder or add your own • Store each employer with supervisor name and license number • Export a certification-ready PDF or CSV • Combined records split hours by employer, so each supervisor certifies only the work they actually supervised 7 NEC CALCULATORS FOR THE FIELD • Wire size / ampacity — AWG by load and temperature • Voltage drop — volts and % over distance • Max circuit distance — longest run within a drop limit • Load calculator — service size by NEC Article 220 • Motor calculator — circuit sizing by NEC Article 430 • Conduit fill — NEC Chapter 9 fill percentage • Box fill — conductors per box Every result shows the inputs it used and the code articles behind it, so you can check the work instead of trusting a black box. TALK INSTEAD OF TYPING Say "240 volts, 6 gauge wire, 30 amps, 100 foot run" and the calculator fills itself in. Useful when you're gloved up on a ladder and typing isn't happening. BUILT AROUND YOUR APPRENTICESHIP • Set your program or local, your state and your apprentice level • Daily reminder so you never lose a day you already worked • Light and dark mode • Optional sign-in to back up and restore your hours across devices FREE, AND ACTUALLY FREE Every feature is included at no cost — hour logging, all 7 calculators, and full PDF and CSV export. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, no paid tier and no ads. Nothing is locked behind a trial. You can log hours without an account.
