About InkTrail HSK: Chinese Writing

Reading a character and writing it are two different skills. InkTrail HSK is a handwriting workbook for HSK 3.0, covering all nine levels: 10,969 words and 2,970 characters, with stroke-order data for every character. The word list and stroke data ship inside the app, so practice works offline. HOW EVERY WORD IS PRACTICED Watch — Every character has an animated stroke-order demo. Step through it one stroke at a time, or replay it whenever you like. Write from memory — The prompt gives you the pinyin and the meaning, not the character. You write it on a blank grid, and every stroke is checked as you go. Stuck? Peek at the outline, or turn on Guide and trace along. Review — Your writing score decides when the word comes back. Characters you write cleanly return later; the ones you needed help with return soon. PRINT WORKSHEETS FOR PEN AND PAPER Export the words you're practicing as an A4 PDF. Each entry carries its pinyin, its meaning, and a few common words. Each character steps through its stroke order, then leaves a few cells to trace and the rest to fill in yourself. Print it, or send it anywhere with the share sheet. TROUBLE WORDS, WIDGETS, AND REMINDERS • Words you keep missing collect in Trouble Words, sorted by how often you have missed them, so your weak spots are easy to see. • Three widgets: Word of the Day, Today's Practice, and Trouble Words. The first two also work on the Lock Screen. • Turn on a daily reminder and pick a time. Your practice streak is counted too. Built for iPhone and iPad, with full Dynamic Type support and a light and dark theme. FREE AND INKTRAIL PRO Practice, reviews, and the full word list are free, with 5 new words and 1 worksheet export a day. InkTrail Pro lifts both daily limits and adds targeted practice for your trouble words. It is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
