THREE LEVELS, ONE PIECE AT A TIME Level 1, Read and Listen. The text is performed aloud to you, voice by voice, so a script sounds like a scene instead of a page. The words light as they are spoken and the page follows along. Frame any passage with your finger and loop it until it sticks. Level 2, Type Over. The whole text in front of you. Read it, hear it, type over it. See it, say it, write it. Level 3, Fading Blanks. Words start disappearing by type. Take out the nouns, then the verbs, then the adjectives, stacked however you like, and fill the gaps by typing or out loud. Hide every word and you are reciting the whole thing from memory on an empty page. Every word you get right draws itself in green, every miss turns red and shows you what you missed, and at the end you get your score with a map of what to review. Then you chase 100 percent. IN YOUR OWN VOICE Read a document into the app and play it back at any pace, looped, with the words lighting as you say them. Level 3 can ask each question in your voice. FLASHCARD DECKS Terms, dates, names, chord changes, anything that comes in pairs. Study a shuffled batch, sort each card into Got It or Needs Work, then rematch the misses. Record your voice on either side. Multiple choice too. SPELLING TESTS See the word or hear it only, then type it or say it back letter by letter. The real thing, without the parent having to read the list out loud. MATH DECKS Multiplication, division, addition and subtraction, with a number keypad instead of a keyboard, worked steps on the page, the problem read aloud, and Mad Minute when it is time to go fast.
