Food Photo Diary turns your meal photos into a calendar of everyday memories. Just take a photo. Add a dish name or calorie note only when you want to. Start with a photo Use the camera or your photo library. The entry takes its time from the photo, and breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack is selected from that time. You can change it later. Add from Photos finds meal photos on your device so you can choose several to record together. Forgot to take a photo? You can still record a dish name or note without one. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, each saved photo also gets a short caption made on your device. It never estimates calories, and you can turn it off. Open a photo to edit the dish, notes, time or place. Keep familiar meals in My Items. Daily calorie totals add up only what you choose to enter. Home cooking, Eating out and Takeout tags are optional. Turn on free iCloud sync in Settings to keep photos, notes and My Items together across your own devices. Entries stay on your device and are also saved to your own iCloud when sync is on. Calorie fields, post-meal mood and Health integration data stay only on this device and are not synced to iCloud. Prepare a factual summary, a timeline or a choice of recently recorded dishes to share with your chosen AI app. The free monthly summary shows meal times and the share of home-cooked meals and meals out. The widget shows your latest meal photo and opens the way to a new entry. No meal or portion is judged. Optional Apple Health integration When enabled, this writes only the calories you enter to Apple Health as dietary energy. It does not read any Health data and is off by default. Backup Export your entries and photos together in one file to save in Files or transfer with AirDrop. Restoring only adds to your current entries, without creating duplicates. You can also save photos taken in the app to Photos. Turn this on in Settings; it is off by default. This app does not provide medical or nutritional advice. AI answers are rough guides. ■ Food Snap Quest Pro (auto-renewing subscription) Pro adds monthly looks back, photo PDF reports, extra month-card templates and the dining map. Choose yearly or monthly. Eligible first-time subscribers can try the yearly plan free for 1 month. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected plan's price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings. Logging photos, the calendar, search, CSV, backup, Health sync and saving restaurant names and places stay free, always.
