About Receipt Rabbit Receipt Scanner

Receipt Rabbit is a receipt scanner for freelancers, contractors and small businesses. Scan a receipt or invoice and every line item gets its own category. Mark the business lines, keep the rest personal, and send the itemized expense to QuickBooks Online, Xero or Lunch Money with the receipt image attached. One Costco run can hold printer toner, a new monitor and groceries for home. Receipt Rabbit categorizes each line on its own, so your books show what the business actually bought. EVERY LINE ITEM GETS ITS OWN CATEGORY • 42 categories across 11 groups, including a Work & Office group for business spending. • The category list stays fixed, so the same item lands in the same place every month. • Coupons, discounts, taxes and fees follow the receipt's main category, so your totals still match the receipt. • Change any line's category by hand whenever you want. • Handles invoices, statements, handwritten tips, member savings and multi-page PDFs. SPLIT BUSINESS AND PERSONAL, LINE BY LINE • Mark a single line as business, select several lines at once, or mark the whole receipt. • Your Tax Profile maps business lines to Schedule C categories, cutting down on tax-time prep for you and your accountant. • Review each business line before it goes out, or let it send automatically. SENDS TO QUICKBOOKS ONLINE, XERO AND LUNCH MONEY • QuickBooks Online: one receipt becomes one expense, split across your QuickBooks categories, with the receipt image attached. • Xero: one receipt becomes one spend money transaction in your Xero organisation, split across your accounts, with the receipt attached. • Card routing: receipts post to the QuickBooks or Xero account that matches the last four digits of the card used. • Lunch Money: finds the matching bank transaction, splits it by category and attaches the receipt image, with every split matching to the penny. • Send automatically after each scan, or send when you are ready. READY FOR YOUR ACCOUNTANT • Tax-year export (Pro): exports a single zip file containing a spreadsheet with one row per line item, plus every receipt image. • Expense reports for any receipts you select (Pro). • Standard line-item spreadsheet and receipt image exports are included for free. GET RECEIPTS IN ANY WAY YOU LIKE • Point the camera at a receipt. The full-screen scanner finds it, captures it automatically, then crops and straightens the image. • Choose from Photos or Files, or share a receipt from any other app. • Import dozens of receipt photos at once, along with PDFs up to 10 pages long. • Forward emailed receipts and invoices to your personal Receipt Rabbit address. They arrive itemized just like a camera scan. FIND ANY RECEIPT OR ITEM • Search by vendor, item, category or date inside the app, in Spotlight or with Siri. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • No account. No login. Ever. • Your iPhone masks personal details on a receipt photo (such as names, addresses, phone numbers and card numbers) before sending the photo for categorization. Open the receipt photo anytime to see exactly what was hidden. • Add your own names, addresses, words and phrases to an Always Hide list. • Forwarded email is encrypted before it's stored, and only your iPhone can open it. • Receipts sync across your devices through your own iCloud account. • Automatic categorization runs only after you turn it on, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings. FREE, PLUS AND PRO • Free: 30 receipts a month. • Plus: 100 receipts a month and Lunch Money integration. $4 a month or $30 a year. • Pro: 300 receipts a month, QuickBooks Online, Xero and Lunch Money integrations, expense reports and tax-year exports. $8 a month or $60 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. Plus and Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions, billed through your Apple Account. Cancel anytime in Settings at least 24 hours before renewal.
