About Morlah

Most people who journal do it to understand themselves better. And most quit, not because they lack motivation, but because the blank page gives nothing back. Morlah is different. It learns about you before you write a single word. HOW IT WORKS 1. Swipe. You start with a deck of quote cards: right if it resonates, left if it doesn't. What you reject says as much as what you choose. 2. See yourself. Morlah reads your full set of choices together and reflects back a personal insight. Not a personality test. Not a diagnosis. A pattern, noticed. You'll see the recurring themes in what drew you in, the tension underneath each one, and the two quotes that mirror where your attention is right now. 3. Answer one question a day. For the next 7 days, you receive questions written specifically for you, based on your insight. Each new question unlocks only after you've answered the last one — reflection builds one day at a time, not all at once. Answer in a sentence or a page, your choice. This is journaling with a starting point that actually fits. 4. The cycle continues. Once you've answered all 7 questions, you swipe a fresh deck. Your profile updates as you change. New insight, new questions. Morlah gets sharper the longer you use it, because you're not the same person you were last month. KEEP THE THREAD GOING Build a streak by answering daily. Miss a day? A streak freeze protects your progress, because one bad day shouldn't erase a good habit. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants to understand themselves better but never got past the first month of a journal. If a blank page has ever defeated you, Morlah was built for you. Morlah is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

What’s new

Version 2.0.0 · Updated September 21, 2026

A CONVERSATION, NOT A PROMPT Your daily question now unfolds in three steps — Reflect, Choose, Uncover — and Morlah writes back as you go, word by word. Each conversation closes with a Thought: a short piece written just for you, drawn from what you actually said. YOUR THOUGHTS, KEPT Every Thought is saved. Open one on its own from Questions or Library and read it whenever you want to come back to it. A REBUILT LIBRARY Filter your archive by date, jump from a quote straight to the reflection it sparked, and find any entry by searching. A CALMER JOURNAL The private journal gets a cleaner card, better search, and a faster history. Entries you write now appear the moment you save them. SETTINGS THAT MAKE SENSE Settings is a proper hub, with Progress and Reminders on their own screens. FIRST TIME HERE? A short tour on Home shows you how the loop works — swipe quotes, get your Insight, answer one question a day. SMARTER, WARMER WRITING Morlah's insight reports and questions run on a new, more capable model. They read more like someone who has been paying attention. FIXES AND POLISH Dozens of them: the navigation bar stays put, tabs return to the top when you re-enter them, insight sections open and close properly, the onboarding deck shows its progress, and the daily-question chat keeps your last reply on screen.
