What’s new
Version 5.4.0 · Updated October 9, 2026
This version adds location access ("While Using the App" only). We use it for two things: (1) to detect whether the customer is on a supported campus or in one of our home-delivery areas, so we show the right restaurants and delivery option; and (2) to place an exact pin on the customer's delivery address, which our delivery partner needs to reach their door for on-demand ("Khaao Now") orders. Location is requested only when the user starts choosing a delivery location or adds an address, never in the background, and the app remains fully usable if the user declines: they can pick their campus from a list, or move the map pin by hand. We do not track users or share location with advertisers. To see it: open the app → "Use my current location" on the first screen, or Cart → Checkout → Khaao Now → Add address.
