SoundSwap: Blind Song Swaps

The best song recommendations come from people, not algorithms. SoundSwap is a music exchange app built around one simple idea: you send a song, someone sends one back — and neither of you sees the other's pick until you both reveal. How it works: Pick a song. Write a note about why you chose it. Submit it into the pool. You'll be matched with another SoundSwap user who did the same. Both of you unlock your matches at the same time — blind until then. Features: • Blind song swaps with strangers or friends • Join communities to swap with people who share your taste • Save favorites, react, and build a running library of music you've discovered • Daily prompts for swap inspiration • Streaks to keep the music flowing • Follow people whose taste you trust • Link your profiles to connect further Music sharing should build connection, not come from a recommendation engine. SoundSwap brings back the joy of someone handing you a song and saying "you have to hear this." Built by Maddie & Aarya.
